EPC improvements
Upgrade your property to EPC rating C
Improve your property's energy efficiency with EcoBuild Contractors Ltd.
We assess your property and recommend the improvements most likely to lift it towards a C rating, such as loft insulation, cavity wall insulation and other suitable energy-efficiency measures, then carry out the work.
Target EPC rating C. The final rating depends on the property, the improvements completed and an independent accredited energy assessment.

Who we are
Insulation and property improvement specialists, not general builders
EcoBuild Contractors Ltd is a Luton company focused on a small number of jobs we do every day: insulating lofts and cavity walls, curing mould and damp at the source, decorating to a high standard, and helping homes and rented properties reach a better EPC rating.
Every job starts with a proper look at the property, a clear written quote and no pressure to go ahead.

FAQ
Common questions
What areas do you cover?
We are based at 158A Beechwood Road in Luton and work across Luton, Bedfordshire and the surrounding areas. Send us your postcode with your enquiry and we will confirm straight away whether we cover your property.
Are your quotations really free?
Yes. Quotations are free and there is no obligation to go ahead. For most jobs we visit to survey the property first so the price we give you is accurate.
Can you guarantee my home will reach EPC C?
No one can honestly promise a rating before a survey. We assess the property, recommend the improvements most likely to move it towards C, carry out the work, and the final rating comes from an independent accredited energy assessor.
Do you remove old loft insulation?
Yes. We bag up and take away old, compressed or contaminated insulation, clean the loft, then lay new insulation to the recommended depth, and can fit raised boarding so it keeps its full depth.
Will mould come back after you treat it?
Mould comes back when the cause is left in place. We find out why it is growing, usually condensation, poor ventilation or a damp problem, and deal with that as well as removing the mould.
Can I get a grant towards the work?
Some households can. Schemes change and funding is never guaranteed, so we check what applies to your home before any work is agreed. See our grants page for the current position.
